Starbucks Survey

I need help on a project for school. I want to pose a few questions about Starbucks and use the responses in a paper I am writing. Any help is appreciated.

Do you think Starbucks coffee is a premium product?
Is the Starbucks brand a good coffee?
Would you rather drink coffee from a Starbucks or from a local competitor?

What do you think about Starbucks market saturation policies? Is it comforting to have a Starbucks on every corner? Is it necessary?

Do you think Starbucks will be able to establish itself in Europe? Will they be able to compete against local espresso bars and cafes?

Do you like Starbucks as a company? Does the way Starbucks treat their employees or their green initiatives influence your buying decisions?

Do you use Starbucks coffee products at home? If not, what do you use? (I’m a Kona Gold Espresso Roast drinker myself)

How many times per week do you by a Starbucks coffee product?

Answer any or all questions, and then respond by making comments or send me an email at mojoey-AT-gmail-DOT-com (I get way to much spam already). Thanks!

Despite my unfair advantage of also being in the b-school program, I'll be glad to help ya...

1. Yes, Starbucks is premium.
2. Yes, a good brand.
3. Coffee Bean is my #1 choice, Starbucks is #2.
4. Self-cannabilization seems to work for Starbucks, but it's unfortunate for the mom-and-pop shops.
5. I am a brand-child, so I'm glad to look and find something I like. I wish Coffee Bean would multiply. But I don't think it's necessary.
6. No, based on what I've learned so far... Unless Starbucks changes their image, they won't be able to take over Europe, but maybe just be there for the American tourists.
7. Yeah sure, what's not to like about them? From what I know, they provide benefits for working 20+ hours. As for green, I think they do the minimum, not totally eco-friendly.
8. I'm too lazy to make coffee at home.
9. I buy Coffee Bean, sometimes Starbucks 5-7 times per week due to school. I plan to quit (again) after I graduate.

Good questions, but I suggest creating a survey on-line so that you can compile and analyze the answers more easily. I personally use Survey Monkey. Good luck.

What do you think about Starbucks market saturation policies? Is it comforting to have a Starbucks on every corner? Is it necessary? to me there's nothing more comforting than seeing a starbucks. is it necessary? probably not. but it's become second nature.

Do you think Starbucks will be able to establish itself in Europe? Will they be able to compete against local espresso bars and cafes? europe? we'll see. i doubt they'll get nearly as popular as they are over here..but i doubt they'd flop at the same time.

Do you like Starbucks as a company? Does the way Starbucks treat their employees or their green initiatives influence your buying decisions? i am a target employee. we're not the most eco-friendly but we definitely do our part. and yes it does make me feel better buying coffee there because of this.

starbucks is premium & is a superb brand. their focus lies within the communities from which they purchase their beans. i agree they could be more eco-friendly with recycling and all but i do choose them over any mom and pop store because the quality is there and it s consistent. you never know what smaller places mocha will taste like- their syrups.etc. i have a barista machine from starbucks and yes i do use it frequently. i also work their and am their on my days off.
