Former Texas youth pastor arrested in Great Falls

My theory is that Pastor Kevin Laferney realized Texas is one of the few states which believes in punishment. So he faked his death, jumped bail, and tried to create a new life as a painter in Great Falls. Idiot.

Laferney was arrested about a year ago in August of 2006. His alleged crimes focus on young girls.
Kevin Laferney has been charged with Sexual Assault of a 13-year-old girl for an incident back in June and Indecency with a Child in relation to a 10-year-old girl that happened earlier this month.
This pastor's luck has run out. His new church will be in a Texas prison.

Kevin is my ex brother-in-law, and I wish his charges were severe enough to get him the death penalty. In my book they are but according to the law, they are not.

Death is a little too harsh. Now life in prison as a bitch sounds just fine to me.

bvykDeath is a little harsh being that murderers dont even get that punishment. Saying that, I know the ex-brother-in-law and his life has not been one to brag on.

I think he does deserve to go to jail.
I do not think he should be put to death.
I have known him my WHOLE life.
Those are just my opinions.

My daughter was one of the girls from the church where he was molesting kids. I know him and never liked him. He always gave me the creeps. I hope he rots in jail and gets what he dished out! I hear they have lots of fun with childmolesters in the joint........

Kevin LaFerney is my father, my name is Kamylle LaFerney. I was the who one called the cops on him when i was merely 17. I appreciate the government with the first amendment and everything but the fact that people are putting thier stupid opinoins everywhere is really making me mad. How do you expect us, the victims to move on with our lives when all we hear is this crap from you two faced bastards? we can't ... no one is perfect so before anyone says anything about anyone put yourself in my shoes as a 17year old defenseless girl having to protect her sisters and tell me if you could have done it..... i didn't think so. So until you are sre you could ruin someones life and take such a stand to someone that important at such a young age, SHUT UP!!!!!! Thank you PV2 LaFerney, Kamylle
any comments?? tell me yourself at mizbballprincess@yahoo.com

I know this man and I think that punishment of being LIFE IN PRISON will do. I was a part of the family for a short period of time and was there among all them when all this took place. I commend the 17yr old girl that called the cops to protect her younger sisters. I do agree with her, before you go making harsh accusations on something you may not or may know something about, put yourself in her shoes. Could you do what she did?? I know I could, cause I was a victim. I am still friends with her and her sisters and step mother. I pray for them everyday cause I know how hard it was to make that call and turn in the only earthly father she has/had. I love you Kamyelle and sisters.
