I shot this Sunday. My niece (right), and grand niece (left) were playing on a chair at my son's birthday party.
I can shoot pictures of my family all day. But I hate the straight up "say cheese" and smile shots. I'll take them, but I hate them. I captured a little bit of these young girls' souls in this shot. I want the soul, I crave it. Everything else is just a snapshot.
I prefer to shoot shots like this... 
If left to myself I will hunt these types of shot all day. I am rarely left to my own. I need to do more of this. It's good for my soul.
I really need to paint that wall...

Those are the very family shots I try to capture myself. That one is a doozy!
